Timetable change:

Our Doubles Trapeze class has moved to 11am Thursday mornings!

This class offers fundamental knowledge in aerial partnering. Working from beginners to advance levels, students will learn techniques to assist in foundational skills while learning a repertoire of partnering moves that can be transferred to any duo aerial act. The students will work interchangeably with different flyers and bases to develop versatility and a thorough understanding of the techniques required from both partners. Students can join individually or in pairs.

Doubles Trapeze will be taught by Zeb Hunter

Book now via the Home Page!

New Class!

Due to popular demand, we have had to add a new class to our timetable. This class will be known as Beginner Aerials 2.0. The class will run the same as our normal Beginner Aerials class, but instead of being 1.5 in length, it will be 2 hours!

This class will run Fridays afternoon 4:30-6:30pm (starting April 3rd). The ever talented Elli Huber (Aerial Allstars Winner 2015) will be the instructor. Booking can be made via the Home Page.

Lyra Level 2:

For those interested, we have added a second Lyra Level 2 class. This class will run from Term 2 2015 on Thursday nights at 7:30pm and will be designed for students who are new to Level 2. To book, follow the prompts on the home page to book now.

Aerial for Dancers

Due to popular demand Aerialize has opened up our Aerial for Dancers class to another 9 students.

About Aerial for Dancers:

Dancers progress in Aerials classes faster than most others because of their developed body awareness, fluidity, flexibility and great musicality. All of which makes a perfect base to become an aerialist. Aerials for Dancers focuses on using all of these elements to build the strength and awareness required for the incorporation of aerial routines. The class will progress you quickly to an elite, creative, safe and professional performance level.

The class will include the following apparatus:

Aerial hoop (Lyra) – static, spinning, dance hoop and basic swinging

Aerial silks (Tissu)

You will learn:

Techniques on both apparatus, proper technique and control, strength and conditioning, stretch and flexibility, new tricks and sequences, cardio sequences for stamina on the apparatus, how to incorporate music into aerial performances, safety and act creation.

Beginners rope and silks

In term 2 2015 (starting 23 March 2015) we'll be running a beginners class in rope (corde lisse) and silks (tissu). Since Willy Wagtail has landed on us from England, there's been a huge interest in corde lisse (mostly because he is so brilliant at it and also because he's extremely keen to share his skills).

The class needs to start with silks because the two use very similar techniques, many of which are easier to learn on silks, and later transferred to rope. Running Friday's 6:30pm.

Kindy Circus
