At point of purchase, after choosing your Class and selecting “Enrol”, select the “CONTRACTS” Tab in the top right corner and follow your nose from there… You will be charged for your first class on sign-up, and the remainder of your classes will be deducted pro-rata each week.
Note: Only classes marked with a (D) on the timetable are available for drop-ins. Please make sure you book in ahead of time either online or by contacting the office.

Please take a moment to read through our updated cancellation policy! The policy is based on standard business practices and general courtesy!
1. Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for any class cancellations – please call or email the office, do not contact your instructor directly – or the class will be forfeited.
2. Cancellations must be for reasons of specific relevant health issue or injury, not due to personal misadventure, or your class will be forfeited.
3. For any ground class missed, a makeup class will be arranged for another ground Drop-In class – please call or email the office to book this.
4. For any aerial class missed, a makeup class will be arranged for Aerials 101 or Tissu Open (for missed Tissu classes) or Lyra Open (for missed Lyra classes) only – please call or email the office to book this.
5. Makeup classes must be redeemed / taken within the same Term or Block as the original missed class.
6. No refunds are permitted, a class in-lieu will be organised for missed classes if approved by the office.

In this class you will learn the basics of trapeze, lyra and tissu. You will be taken through warm up, stretching and conditioning then go on to learn the basic skills to get you started on the three main aerial disciplines. This class will give you a skill foundation that can be transferred over into a Beginner level class in one of our graded aerial classes.
This class gives the student the opportunity to develop their skill level in all three major disciplines (trapeze, lyra and tissu). For some students it’s hard to decide which aerial apparatus they love the most, so this class gives you the chance to keep learning on all three after you’ve developed the initial fundamental skills for all three disciplines.
Note, the AERIAL TRIO class is designed for students who already have some (at least one term of) aerials under their belt. For completely new and/or otherwise inexperienced students, it is recommended that you opt for the ‘Aerials 101’ class.
AERIAL LYRA (HOOP)
Lyra (also known as the hoop, ring, cereaux) is an aerial circular steel apparatus suspended in the air.
Build strength and learn the aerial ring/hoop while having fun. This class will take you through warmup, stretching and conditioning. Learn tricks, develop your technique in the air and start to develop a repertoire of skils.
Continues to build strength and fitness, learns new and more advanced tricks and performance skill, preparing you for level 3-4.
Take your skills further and learn new, more involved tricks and techniques on the aerial ring. This class will revise old tricks, develop your performance skills, and improve your flexibility and strength.
Solidify your skills and take your practice to a performance level. Learn new tricks and perfect those already learned.
AERIAL TISSU (SILKS)
A tissu is two strips of fabric hung from a single point approximately 7m high.
You will learn to climb and drop, and twist yourself in knots high in the air.
Take your skills further and learn new, more involved tricks and techniques on the tissu. Performance skills and techniques are introduced and further developed in this class. This course is designed for people who have completed at least two terms of Tissu Level 1 or equivalent.
Students work on developing their skills and fitness in order to progress to Level 4.
This class is for people who have been doing the intermediate classes and meet the skill and fitness prerequisites of this class. You will learn more involved tricks and drops. Every encouragement is given to people to construct their own routine, and develop performance techniques.
Trapeze (static/fixed/dance) is a type of circus art performed on a single bar with ropes on the side. In contrast to the other forms of trapeze, on static trapeze the bars and ropes mainly stay in place.
Build strength and learn the basics of static trapeze whilst having fun. This class focuses solely on trapeze and will take you through warm up, stretching and repertoire.
Take your skills further and learn new, more involved tricks and techniques on the trapeze. Performance skills and techniques are introduced and further developed in this class. This course is designed for people who have completed at least two terms of Trapeze Level 1 or equivalent.
This course is for students who have been doing the intermediate trapeze course and would like to focus more on performance techniques. In this class you will work with different ideas and concepts such as improvisation, props and unusual equipment. You will work on more elite aerial skills.

Other Aerial Classes
Corde Lisse (Aerial Rope)
Rope is the purest, simplest piece of aerial equipment in circus. But don’t let its simplicity fool you – when you take on Rope you enter a whole new world of challenges and rewards. You’ll learn to twist and turn your body around the swinging rope as you defy gravity in a seamless sequence of shapes and movement. This class will mainly focus on rope specific moves, suspension, strength, momentum and transitions.
*Students a required to have a basic aerial knowledge being able to do the following moves.
-French/ Russian climb
Grab a partner in crime or make a new one and challenge yourself even further by learning new, more involved tricks and techniques on the trapeze for two.
This course is designed for people who have completed Trapeze Level 1 or equivalent.
This class offers students to learn the basic skills of one of the hardest, yet most sought after aerial apparatus- Aerial Straps. Learn the strength and flexibility it takes to perform tricks on this incredible apparatus with grace and ease.
Acrobatics focuses on tumbling, flips using the mini-tramp, handstands and individually based acro skills. This course is designed for people with all ranges of experience.
Acrobatics focuses on tumbling, flips using the mini-tramp, handstands and individually based acro skills. The continuers course is designed for those returning after a number of terms, and for new students with previous experience and existing strength.
Also known as Adagio, this class works on balancing in pair and group combinations. It’s a fun class using team work to create and challenge your acrobatic abilities. This course is designed for people with all ranges of experience, from beginners to advanced.
A simple and elegant circus apparatus, the Chinese Pole is a sticky aluminum pole generally about 6.5metres high. You will learn different climbs, tricks and slides as well as develop technique and loads of strength. Wear soft soled shoes and an old pair of non-stretchy pants and t-shirt.
This class in an open class and will focus on increasing flexibility, forward and backward walkovers and contortion moves. This class will build on increased flexibility and repertoire of contortion tricks.
This class involves conditioning, body awareness and stretch to further your handstand skills. The instructor will aim to find the handstand technique appropriate for each participant. This class is open for anybody interested in getting inverted. No handstand experience required.
This is an open class and is a great way to get fit and have fun. Come along and bring some friends to learn some great party tricks or develop new performance skills to add to your repertoire. (This is a 1 hour class)
This class will get you whipped into shape by focusing on the fitness elements that circus has to offer. It will be a unique blend of strength, flexibility, core and cardiovascular exercises that professional circus performer engage in to be “show-ready”.
Ever wanted to work on your flexibility but not be a contortionist? Well this is the class for you. This class will give student the tools/ability to stretch themselves in a safe and secure way minimising the risk of overstretching or injury. You’ll be taken through a thorough warm-up before being instructed on the correct way to stretch your body to give you those beautiful lines you’ve always desired!
